We both have a rain jacket as well! Puffer mentioned in article + a fleece + rain jacket as our fill layer set when cold & rainy. Mine is Columbia and hers is Arcteryx. But any rain jacket with gore-tex material will be good and very waterproof / last a long time.
We’re also looking into acquiring rain pants for the upcoming Inca Trail, which is never heard of until Claire explained the concept to me haha.
